ABOUT

Born in Kalgoorlie, Janet Day has been painting professionally in excess of 30 years. She graduated in 1995 from Kalgoorlie College with an Associate Diploma of Visual Arts, and has since exhibited and won many regional art awards.

Oils are Jan's preferred medium due to the consistency and fluidity of the paint, which together with her concern of depicting the light and atmosphere of the  landscape produces evocative artwork. Jan's work is very popular and can be found hanging in many Goldfields, Perth and overseas homes and businesses.
